Lamplighter’s Community Engagement Coordinator manages all community and non-profit partnerships, processes donation requests, and supports the ongoing implementation of the company’s values both internally and within the broader community.

The Position: The primary role of Lamplighter’s Community Engagement Coordinator is to direct all community partnerships, coordinate volunteer opportunities for staff members, and manage the reallocation of company resources through donations of funds, event spaces, products / merchandise, and other forms of giving. Aligning their work carefully with Lamplighter’s company values and mission, the Community Engagement Coordinator plays a critical role in shaping Lamplighter’s identity in the cultural and social communities of staff and customers, as well as presenting its initiatives internally and externally.

Dual Responsibilities: The Community Engagement Coordinator position is a 10 hours/week role. Candidates will be required to hold an additional front of house position (barista or barback) for the remaining 30 hours/week. Depending on the company’s growth, the Community Engagement Coordinator may reduce barback / barista hours and take on more office work.

What We’ll Teach You: All employees are also provided with a working knowledge of general beer and brewing, and a complete understanding of Lamplighter’s history, operations, policies, and procedures. As a member of the marketing and admin team, this knowledge will be supplemented with discussions around company values, morals, and ethics and brand, as well as continued outreach and network-building with past and present community partners. This individual will also be trained to analyze company impact area initiatives and incentivize tax-deductible giving.

  • Starting Wage: $20/hr, flexible based on experience
  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full Time (candidates will also hold a barista or barback position)
  • Start Date: Flexible – late July preferred
