Warehouse Specialist

Warehouse Specialist Job Duties:
- Great reliability, flexibility and able to demonstrate great attendance
- Operate a forklift in a safe speed and in the safest manner
- Conduct daily inspection of forklifts using a Safety and Maintenance Checklist
- Stage finished beer by hand stacking cases, half BBL, and Sixth BBL kegs for outgoing loads
- Receive and unload incoming materials as they arrive
- Inspect incoming truck loads for damage/order accuracy and document the report to the Warehouse Manager
- Assist with offloading finished beer from the packaging line, as well as supporting the package line operations
- Organize and manage pallet inventory in a clean and orderly fashion
- Ensure a clean, sanitary, and “showcase brewery” work environment at all times by maintaining the facility
- Identify any issues and appropriately escalate them when necessary, exercising discretion
- Flexibility to arrive early, work overtime, or come in on weekends when the business requires additional hours
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends
- Other duties as assigned
Some Qualifications Include:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Two years of college is a plus
- A minimum of one year of experience driving a forklift and working within a warehouse environment is preferred but not required
- Great communication both verbally and written with attention to details
- Highly organized, detailed and results driven to deadlines
- Able to use sound judgment and holds oneself accountable for quality
- A “no job is too small” attitude
- Must be able to take direction well, follow verbal and written SOP’s
- Work involves being exposed to moving machinery, equipment, chemicals and systems
- Job may require bending, squatting, climbing and reaching above or below shoulder levels.
- May lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds
