Supply Chain Coordinator
The Supply Chain Coordinator (SCC) is responsible for day-to-day activities enabling timely supply of products to market. The SCC supports all activities related to managing customer orders from incoming order receipt to outbound shipment and claims coordination (as needed); ingredient and packaging procurement; item (Finished Goods, Raw Material and Packaging) set-up and maintenance in Orchestrated Beer (O'Beer); supporting Warehouse operations through truck scheduling, pick ticket issuance and other responsibilities.
Specific tasks and activities required will include, but are not limited to, the following:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for entering and tracking all customer orders within Orchestrated Beer.
- Reviewing orders to ensure Smuttynose ability to supply, and working with Brewery Operations Manager to resolve any issues identified.
- Responsible for all packaging requirement planning and ordering
- In charge of raw material procurement while filling in for the Brewery Operations Manager (while on vacation or out of the office)
- Prepare weekly analysis of raw material/packaging inventory (using O'Beer) and production forecasts; determine replenishment quantities needed, execute purchase orders, confirm supplier ability to supply within timeframe required. Monitor open orders and ensure on time delivery to support production.
- Work with Brewery Operations Manager to ensure adequate supply of packaging to execute production plan.
- Schedule outbound trucks for customer deliveries and inbound trucks for purchased products as needed; prepare pick tickets for Warehouse team to ensure timely availability of product for pick-up.
- Responsible for all item set-up and maintenance of Packaging items in Orchestrated Beer.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree
- Chain supply experience
- Brewery knowledge and experience
- Ability to take direction well
- Knowledge of supply chain operations functions
- Able to understand and follow verbal and written SOP's
- Proficient MS Office including Word and Excel; working knowledge of OBeer
- Flexibility
- Well organized with high level of attention to detail
- Ability to multi- task, deal with multiple critical issues at one time, and see through completion in a timely fashion
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Strong communication with team members
- Execute with a sense of urgency
