Moat Mountain Brewing Company is looking for an experienced brewer/cellar person to add to our outstanding team. Responsibilities include working nearly all aspects of the brewery. Tank work, brewing and grain milling are just a few of the responsibilities of the job.

Required skills and Abilities, Certifications and Licences:

*At least 3 years’ experience

*A thorough understanding of Brewery etiquette and Safety Standards

*Ability to multi task and manage time efficiently

*Work on your feet all day, lifting, bending and reaching

*Follow work instructions and SOP's

*Excellent attention to detail

*Strong interpersonal and communication skills

*Move 150 pounds and lift 50 pounds

*Tolerance to a work environment that is regularly wet, with various temperature ranges and noise

*Flexibility to adapt to task changes based on production requirements

*A valid driver’s license is required

This is a full-time, year-round position. Starting pay is $18-$20 per hour depending on experience with opportunity for advancement and pay increases over time. Employee health insurance offered, flexible hours and paid time off after the first year. We have no graveyard shifts this is a 9-5 job (8-4 actually) 40 hours per week and year-round.

Worth Noting

We are a rural community and the pay rate reflects the demographic. The cost of living here is less than that of a city. For those considering relocating for this position we will certainly help find you a place to stay. We also have employee housing opportunities pop up as well from time to time. (As of 10/24/23 we have a house available for rent)

Our brewery is located in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest. We are surrounded by beautiful mountains, rivers, lakes, ski resorts, world class rock and ice climbing and some of the friendliest people on the East Coast.
