Position Overview: 

The Supply Chain Associate coordinates the flow of work and materials between departments to meet the needs of the production schedule. 

Working Relationships: 

This position reports directly to the Senior Supply Chain Planning Manager. This person collaborates with brewing, quality assurance, maintenance, planning, & logistics. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with brewing, packaging, warehousing, logistics, & quality assurance to create master packaging & separation schedule 
  1. Review labor constraints, packaging/separation line efficiencies, shipping requirements, & customer service needs to ensure schedule is optimized 
  2. React to daily changes and communicate delays to the appropriate parties 
  3. Maintain OrchestratedBeer SAP master schedule 
  4. Communicate with contract customer’s & Two Roads internal team regarding production status 
  5. Analyze yields and adjust packaging splits accordingly 
  6. Lead daily production meeting between brewing, packaging, warehousing, logistics, & quality assurance
  • Communicate daily production meeting minutes to the associated parties 
  • Be subject matter expert for all things related to the production schedule 
  • Maintain accurate information in OrchestratedBeer SAP 
  1. Create packaging production orders
  2. Express daily separation & packaging production orders
  3. Maintain and create Bill of Materials for all packaging sku’
  4. General upkeep related to data integrity 
  • Packaging Material Procurement 
  1. Create raw packaging material purchasing plan based on current inventory, future needs, costs, and lead times 
  • Cans, trays, wraps, carriers, lids, labels, bottles, kegs, caps, etc 
  1. Ensure materials meet specifications, quality standards, & are cost effective 
  2. Maintain packaging material inventory levels to avoid surplus or shortages 
  3. Creation of Purchase Orders in OrchestratedBeer & communication to vendors 
  4. Creation of Goods Receipt Purchase Orders to confirm deliveries in OrchestratedBeer
  5. Scheduling of weekly material releases 
  6. Source alternative sources for materials 
  7. Create & track procurement KPIs 
  8. Manage relations with vendors 
  9. Track POs & identify potential issues 
  10. Packaging material forecasting 
  11. Communicate with contract customer’s regarding their packaging material needs 
  12. Microstar keg reporting – Two Roads & contract 
  13. Communication of weekly scheduled deliveries to logistics & packaging teams 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent 
  • 2+ years’ experience in production planning, material planning, purchasing, or related position
  • SAP or ERP software experience; SQL a plus 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Advanced Microsoft excel skills 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Prior beer industry experience a plus
