The Deschutes Brewery Bend Public House is looking for enthusiastic Lead Hosts who are driven, excel in a fast-paced, high volume restaurant, and are committed to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and guest service. A sense of urgency, attention to detail and commitment to quality are required. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a collaborative team environment and maintaining a guest-first focus! The Lead Host Position oversees day-to-day operations of our host-welcoming team as well as the daily operations and flow of our restaurant while maintaining a positive attitude. This position requires flexibility with days, nights, and weekends. We are currently recruiting for both full-time and part-time positions.

What you'll be doing:

  • Adhere to all Deschutes Brewery policies and procedures
  • Treat all guests positively, strive to exceed guests' expectations
  • Utilize strong communication skills
  • Maintain a constant and up-to-date vision of the restaurant
  • Proactive approach to overall floor layout, proactively taking reservations and organizing floor plans
  • Front of House (FOH) organization; including front desk, entry way, and outside entry way
  • Maintain running knowledge of retail products, guest sales, inventory, ordering, and stocking POS items. Retail ordering, weekly and monthly inventory off products on hand; retail beer, merchandise
  • Coordinating and ringing in to go orders, utilizing online systems such as Door Dash and Mobile Bytes
  • Dock sales
  • Complete on-going and shift side work duties
  • Assisting management team with phasing servers on the floor
  • Weekly and 1st of the month inventory of beer and retail merchandise
  • Perform other duties as directed
