Functions as a business partner with brewery and corporate financial management to effectively manage and control the local business. Leads and is responsible for all accounting, financial and procurement processes at the brewery to include: accounting, financial and operational reporting, internal controls/SOX compliance, cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, TTB and federal excise tax compliance, contract and supplier management, and the oversight of outsourced brewery financial functions. Is ultimately responsible for all elements of fiduciary soundness of the brewery. Controllership functions include assisting in developing and maintaining the brewery’s internal controls and accounting policies and procedures, operational and financial reporting and providing analysis, counsel, advice and recommendations to help brewery and top-level management make operating decisions to reduce costs, improve profits and return on investment, drive world-class practices aligned with Molson Coors Manufacturing Way and to achieve goals and plans. Develops local strategies and tactics in alignment with the brewery and integrated supply chain strategic plan.
Builds and develops a team of employees in the areas of technical and leadership development. Responsible for a multidisciplinary team of direct and indirect reports. Leads, mentors, and develops assigned team in Performance, Career, and Talent Management. Promotes and consults with leadership on strategies to create an inclusive and engaging environment.
Is responsible for adhering to all rules, regulations, policies, programs, and related Molson Coors Quality Management System including SQF, HACCP and GMP to ensure safety and quality of Molson Coors products.
