Monday Night Brewing seeks a Part-Time Private Event Coordinator for its Garage location in Atlanta’s Historic West End. The Private Event Coordinator will work directly with the Private Event Manager to ensure client success and create positive, personal interactions with the Monday Night brand. This is a part-time position available immediately.

We currently operate two taprooms in Atlanta, GA and a brewpub in Birmingham, AL. In our tenth year of operation, we are proud to produce a vast portfolio—spanning from small batch New England IPAs to barrel-aged stouts, approachable kettle sours to mixed culture ambers, hop-forward West Coast IPAs to craft hard seltzers.

Reports to:

  • Private Event Manager

High-Level Goals:

  • Support Private Events Manager in timely lead response and client maintenance with attention to detail
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of our portfolio with a focus on each beer’s USP.
  • Maintain strong craft beer industry knowledge. Ensure the right beer always has a home in the right place.
  • Develop and grow strong relationships with partners including wholesale, on and off premise accounts.

What You’ll Do:

  • Determine client needs and requirements for private events space to ensure a consistent, high level of customer service for our private event clients
  • Ensure timely, complete and professional lead response to private event clients via Tripleseat (lead management software), phone calls, email and in-person communication
  • Schedule and provide helpful, professional walkthroughs for clients prior to events
  • Test A/V needs, answer venue and policy questions, be an expert resource on the venue space
  • Compile and disseminate notes for the event leads
  • Manage private events shifts and provide real-time support to private event leads, bartenders, and clients
  • Manage private event venue, inventory, and cleanliness of all associated private event spaces, including: Chandelier Room, Courtyard, VIP Flag Bar, Private Event Restrooms, Green Room, Storage Spaces, etc.
  • Onsite management of private events with shift coverage assistance from additional part-time private event managers
  • Support Private Events Manager in developing ideas and initiatives to increase private event revenue and profitability
  • Support Private Events Manager with the execution and recording of all SOPs, policies, & procedures as it relates to private events
  • 50% of time performing administrative responsibilities; 50% of time spent as onsite venue and event management

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or 2+ years relevant experience) preferred
  • 2+ years event venue/event lead or management experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and professionalism
  • High sense of urgency and organization
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs

Optional, But Not Required:

  • Connoisseur of tacos
  • Collects all things T-Rex

Success Metrics:

  • Lead conversion and follow up
  • Positive client reviews
  • Execution of SOPs, including reporting and resolution of venue maintenance issues

Compensation & Perks:

  • $20/hr
  • Weekly beer stipend
  • Must work at least 3 shifts per week and be available for at least 1 on call shifts per week
