Right now, we need a Human Resources Business Partner, located in San Antonio, TX who will provide both strategic leadership and tactical support in planning, organizing, and administering human resource programs and initiatives in support of business goals.  

Summary:

As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will provide HR solutions that support our goals, strategies and objectives and will drive the development of HR operational excellence across performance management, organizational effectiveness, talent management, workforce planning, employee relations, learning and development, and compensation and benefits.

Areas of responsibilities & duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees on all performance related issues, including identifying key talent, succession planning, recognition and rewards, attendance/performance issues, performance improvement, and separations.
  • Package traditional HR experience and understanding of process and systems with inspiration and creativity to provide innovative solutions. 
  • Understand training and development needs and recommend/provide appropriate training.
  • Apply consistent interpretation and administration of company policies and procedures, practices and principles relating to employee relations and risk management; counsel and advise management and recommend approaches to resolve problems.
  • Recommend policy changes/development that support our people and align with our business initiatives
  • Forge strong relationships to help engage and utilize cross functional resources to obtain support on common tools, systems, and processes.

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree OR 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience as an HR generalist in one or more human resource disciplines, or general business consulting/analysis or business management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and make decisions of a complex nature
  • Highly effective project management skills with a complete understanding of business process and the ability to integrate multiple resources for integrated solutions
  • Strong written/oral communication, ability to interact effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders; effective presentation and facilitation, team and leadership development, conflict resolution, and organizational change/influence skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with UKG (Ultipro)
  • PHR
  • SHRM-CP
