Angry Scotsman is looking to expand their brewing crew.

Responsibilities include:

  • Brewing operations on the main and pilot brewhouses alongside the head brewer
  • Small batch special release program
  • Cold-side activity including monitoring fermentation, dry-hopping, & tank transfers
  • Inventory control of raw materials and finished goods
  • Performing routine product packaging tasks including kegging and canning
  • Sensory quality control of final product
  • Cleaning cellar tanks and kegs
  • General housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Promoting the brand/pouring beer at events and festivals

The ideal candidate will be expected to have:

  • Minimum two years of professional brewing experience
  • Proven track record of consistency across beer recipes
  • A solid understanding of craft beer and different beer styles
  • Flexibility in work schedule to include occasional evenings and weekends for events
  • Ability to lift and carry a 55lb load up a flight of stairs
  • Ability to maneuver a 160lb keg of beer
  • Attention to detail for following standard operating procedures
  • A professional demeanor and appearance whenever representing brand
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to stand/work on your feet for 8hrs in a hot and humid environment (brewery is not air-conditioned)
  • Experience with barrel aging and/or sour beers (preferred)
  • Forklift driving experience (preferred)
