This position is responsible for implementing New Belgium’s brand strategy through digital content, social media community engagement, and the email program. The role is predominantly focused on developing content and social media strategies and plans; creating creative and compelling content that reinforces key messages and stories; and engaging directly with existing and target audiences across social media platforms with the goal of improving brand awareness, sentiment, and sales growth.

Essential Duties:

  • Support annual brand strategy for New Belgium across digital and social channels; advise and collaborate with portfolio brand teams to build a cohesive company narrative
  • In concert with the Digital Marketing Manager, establish clear, metrics-driven annual objectives for New Belgium’s social platforms, in line with brand strategy and business goals
  • Develop high quality, brand-forward content and social strategies (including Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Untappd, and others as we expand)
  • Build all New Belgium social media content (and run all internal reviews and approvals), including photography, video, design and more, in collaboration with internal creative and agency resources
  • Manage and engage with our community of social media followers on a daily basis; Participate actively in the community in real-time, especially on key issue areas where New Belgium is invested/involved; Adhere to social media best practices
  • Manage email calendar; Concept, build and coordinate email newsletter content
  • Manage brand social media calendar; Work with our in-house Content Creator on requests for the New Belgium brand, as well as our brand portfolio (especially Innovation team), to ensure we’re delivering assets that are on-brand and relevant for our audiences at all times
  • Work with our regional social media account leaders to ensure quality and consistent posting that reflects the New Belgium Brewing brand
  • Search out the “new” and innovative in the social media/digital/email landscape and identify trends or opportunities

Education/ Experience/Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration: Marketing or equivalent related experience and 4+ years of applicable experience
  • Experienced liaison with demonstrated skills in invention, imagination, and originality 
  • Strong working knowledge with proficiency in use of social media platforms 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously 
  • Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner 
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with the staff and the public 

Percent of Travel: 10% - 25% 

Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.

Starting Wage Range: $62,500.00 - 67,500.00
