As an Accounting Intern, you will report to our Accounting Manager, and will have a diverse set of responsibilities that allow you to apply your knowledge of financial terms and principles to an authentic real-world experience essential to BuffBrew’s success, specifically in the following areas:
- Financial Transaction Processing
- Bank Reconciliations
- Inventory Management
- Month-end financial reporting and analysis
In addition to the preceding list of responsibilities, there are a plethora of unpredictable tasks that arise on a day-to-day basis. As a member of the herd, you may encounter times where you put the team above the individual and be asked to take on additional tasks & responsibilities. A quality candidate would pursue those tasks with the same passion, care, and attention to detail as s/he does every other task
No experience necessary, but this role is intended for Accounting Students actively enrolled in an accredited program
Positive attitude, growth mindset, self-awareness & maturity
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Attention to detail and the ability to read through all of the instructions before racing into a cavalier answer... in fact please mention “hawk-like” in your cover letter (of course you’re submitting a cover letter, right? So we know how you communicate!)
Robust personal productivity system
Proficient with core MS Office Products
Must be able to work onsite, this is not a remote work or work-from-home opportunity
Currently, we've written the role to be 15-20 hours per week, but we will reevaluate again after a few months
