Our Director of Sales is charged with bringing focus and intensity to the Cabin Boys brand by implementing a strong market strategy for growth in our surrounding territory and beyond. This is currently the sole sales position, with the expectation of developing into a full sales team. Building strong relationships with our distribution teams and planning for internal team growth is critical.

  

Core Responsibilities

Distribution Management

  • Create and implement a comprehensive sales plan including pricing analysis, revenue targets, target retailers, overall growth strategy, and future sales team activities
  • Prepare and present intuitive and actionable weekly sales reports to brewery leadership and future sales team
  • Create fluid and positive relationships with distributor brand managers and sales teams through educational meetings, ride-alongs, and consistent communication
  • Manage relationships and brand approvals for big-box retailers
  • Define, communicate, and execute distributor sales expectations and conduct distributor evaluations based on short- and long-term goals on a quarterly basis
  • Proactively communicate inventory expectations and availability between brewery production team and distributors
  • Identify sales needs and when to implement hiring of territory sales representatives
  • Ensure that the brewery’s quality standards are clearly understood and enforced by distributors and retailers

  

Brand Management

  • Develop innovative brand relationships and manage current house brands
  • Challenge expectations, break the norms, and promote Cabin Boys innovation with retail partners
  • Improve conditions within accounts by building displays, resetting coolers, and distributing all key brand accessories (tap handles, cooler door stickers, posters)
  • Represent Cabin Boys Brewery through a “Crafted for Community” attitude
  • Attend and assist with selected festivals and events such as but not limited to beer dinners, tastings, and promotions


Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of sales experience (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of prior management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Passion for craft beer and food
  • Driven to build an industry-leading team within a growing organization
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be a great listener 
  • Experience with Google suite, Office suite, Quickbooks, and adaptability to learn multiple web-based platforms 
  • Must be available to work nights and weekends and work more than 40 hours per week
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, insurance, clean driving record and access to a dependable vehicle
  • Must be able to lift and or move up to 50 pounds
  • Must currently reside in Oklahoma or be willing to relocate.
