About the Job

In this job you will work to develop new opportunities to expand Ska Brewing Sales in all markets. You will partner with the existing sales team and distributors to assure the successful distribution and placement of Ska craft beer. This includes on & off premise locations, in the aforementioned territories as well as chain market relationship and distribution development and growth. This is an exempt position.


  • Build, maintain and develop strong working relationships with national accounts at all necessary levels.
  • Create and execute all national account programming and opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver presentations. Communicate using analytics and trend data as appropriate.
  • Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
  • Develop and implement annual sales plan in line with annual business goals.
  • Work with Business Development Manager to evaluate, identify and lead the launch of new distribution markets and territories.
  • Lead, identify expectations, and direct areas of responsibility for the sales team that deliver results in line with annual plan and monthly objectives.
  • Understand and embrace the Ska culture and deliver our mission to the customer.
  • Assist with market forecasting.
  • Work directly with wholesalers to manage and increase territory sales.
  • Adhere to sales and travel budgets.
  • Communicate any special needs to the distribution department.
  • Ability to remain professional in all circumstances.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Minimum four years of relevant experience along with solid working knowledge of the beer and brewing industry
  • Must have experience working with chains
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with limited direction or supervision
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and use of own car each day
  • Willingness to work flexible and extended hours (including evenings and weekends)
  • Self-motivated and energetic individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and independent working attitude
