Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in day-to-day brewery operations
  • Assist in brewery cellar, brewhouse, and packaging area
  • Yeast harvesting
  • Monitor fermentation by reading and logging gravities and temps of beer daily
  • CIP of small parts regularly
  • Cleaning of fermenters/bright tanks
  • Communicate with other staff in a clear and timely manner
  • Transfer beer to brite tanks and transfer yeast to fermenters
  • Monitor fermentation activity and take daily readings
  • Assist with maintenance and overall cleanliness of entire brewery and cellar including; tank exteriors, floors, and milling room
  • Entering data and tasks into operational software
  • Operation of the canning line
  • Keg cleaning and filling
  • Operating the centrifuge
  • Milling grain for batches of beer
  • Train new personnel in proper equipment operation
  • Work on a ladder periodically and a scissor lift regularly
  • Support retail taproom staff as needed and assigned
  • Professionally represent the brewery at events, festivals, and promotions
  • Represent the brewery in a professional manner at all times

Experience, Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:

  • Knowledge of GMPs
  • Strong knowledge of the brewing and fermentation processes preferred
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Desire to learn, grow, and take on increased responsibility
  • Adaptable to changes in brewing, packaging, and production schedules
  • Ensure preventative maintenance procedures occur accurately and routinely
  • Promote “get it done no matter what” positive attitude
  • High-quality work standards with and without direct supervision
  • Strong mechanical aptitude preferred
  • Maintain punctuality and predictable attendance to ensure schedule stays on track
  • Abide by proper and safe operations of every machine in work area and follow all safety rules
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach, stoop, lift up to 55 lbs to chest level and slide or scoot 170lbs, reach over shoulders, and perform repetitive motions without issue
  • Prior experience in a production brewery or production facility preferred
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience with EKOS Brewmaster preferred
  • Qualified candidates will be legally able to work within the united states and will hold a valid drivers license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting $17/hour depending on experience
