We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our supply chain from packaging materials to finished products. This position is responsible for organizing and providing efficient transportation and storage solutions for the entire lifecycle of our products, from the acquisition of raw materials to final product distribution. To be successful in this role, one should be able to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations; have the capability to promptly resolve distribution issues; as well as have strong negotiation and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities/Duties

  • Provide data-based operational support to the Director of Operations and Director of Finance
  • Oversee all supply chain activities of packaging goods, POs, Projections / Forecasting. Packaging goods include: cans, ends, cardboard, kegs, wood pallets, etc.
  • Coordinate with the Warehouse Leadership team to ensure efficient organization and management of inventory, storage and transportation logistics. 
  • Analyze data and processes to optimize logistical procedures. 
  • Review, prepare, and route purchase orders for packaging goods.
  • Input sales orders for all distributors. 
  • Ensure the safe and timely pick-up to delivery of shipments utilizing our SAP/ERP scheduler. This includes: Daily coordination with the Warehouse Manager; timely coordination and communication with our 3rd party co-packer and distributors (in-state, out-of-state and international); and oversight of internal transfers.
  • Monitor shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity.
  • Address and resolve shipment and inventory issues.
  • Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and distributors alongside the Director of Operations.
  • Communication with distributors, including the ability to provide answers to logistic questions and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Responsible for short-term forecasting of 1 to 2 month needs and the ability to manage or correct the forecast based on sales data.
  • Practically this looks like creating packaging schedules and coordinating packaging goods to ensure product quantity is on-target for timely deliveries. This is done together with the Director of Operations, Packaging Manager and Head Brewer.
  • Contribute to New Product Development meetings with data, inventory, projections and feasibility of new products or eliminations of old products.
  • Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.

Work Time/Availability

Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm / 9am - 5:30pm
