QC Laboratory Intern
Job Title: QC Laboratory Intern
Reports To: QC Lab Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Responsible for daily analytical QC checks, inputting data into databases, and maintaining lab equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- CO2/O2 checks of packaging runs.
- Can Seam checks
- ABV/Calories/FG checks of finalized products.
- SRM/IBU checks.
- Collecting Samples for Shelf-Life Tests
- Shelf-Life Testing
- Monitoring and working with Hazardous products.
- Maintains cleanliness of all laboratory equipment.
- Does Preventative Maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Logs and records all data tasks on proper forms/digital records
- Dilution data collection, graphing, and execution.

- Must be currently enrolled (or have completed) in a bachelor’s degree program in a science related field.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
