Job Description

  • Responsible for overseeing distribution across Oklahoma, with a focus on new account acquisition
  • Improving conditions and merchandise accounts by building displays, resetting coolers and displaying point of sale items to increase visibility of the brand
  • Partnering with distributors to ensure orders are placed, product is received and business is growing at accounts
  • Conducting educational meetings with accounts, beer tastings, and any promotions
  • Maintain a clear line of communication with distributors
  • Work with management to create and execute quarterly sales goa
  • Schedule and partake in ride-alongs with distributors
  • Ensure that the brewery’s quality standards are clearly understood and enforced by distributors and retailers
  • Review and communicate sales data, and market insights relevant with management
  • Attend and assist with selected festivals and events such as but not limited to brewery dinners, tastings, and promotions
  • Available to work some nights and weekends as necessary
  • Create and execute a go to market strategy for all new and seasonal products

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, clean driving record & access to a dependable vehicle
  • Passion for Beer and Food and desire to build a career in sales / marketing
  • 3-5 years of proven results oriented experience in outside sales or within the food & beverage industry
  • Flexible schedule; Monday through Friday day hours mostly, however you should expect to work some nights and weekends as the business requires it
  • An intense competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personality
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish goals
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results; and strong judgment and professional maturity
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with persuasive written communication and large group presentation skills.
  • Google Office / MS Office Suite proficiency
  • Ability to pick up/carry cases of beer and maneuver 50lb kegs
  • Ability to perform all functions of merchandising accounts (e.g. spending time in cold boxes, climbing ladders/step stools, breaking down boxes, etc.)
