Labyrinth Brewing Company LLC, located in the historic district of Manchester, CT is expanding and looking for an experienced full time production & brewing assistant to join our establishment for day to day manufacturing operations. As a small 7bbl facility currently producing 700bbl with a goal to grow to 1200bbl annually Labyrinth has a mission and values that focuses on quality, community, continuous improvement, and a great work environment where everyone feels respected and well compensated. This is a great opportunity to get experience in all facets of a brewery production facility. A production & brewing assistant at Labyrinth is expected to wear many hats and some of the tasks will include but are not limited to the below duties and requirements.


  • Tank CIP and sanitization
  • Keg washing
  • Fermentation monitoring
  • General cellar work such as dry hopping, fining, yeast harvesting etc
  • Assisting with brewhouse operations including, but not limited to wort production, cleaning mash tun, and weekly brewhouse CIP as needed
  • Packaging, (kegging, canning, bottling)
  • Inventory
  • Draft line cleaning
  • Production cleaning
  • Maintenance
  • Assisting with quality control as needed
  • Event assistance


  • Good organizational skills
  • Must be 21 or older
  • An eye for detail adhering to detailed SOPs
  • Self motivated work ethic
  • Critical thinking & problem solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities at one time
  • A safety minded attitude adhering to all PPE requirements
  • Passion for the craft beer industry
  • Interest and ability to contribute to LBC’s continuous improvement attitude and growth
  • Willingness to learn and grow as a craft brewing professional
  • Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays when needed
  • Must be reliable and able to be flexible in terms of work hours as needed

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces
  • Tolerance for wet/hot environments
  • Ability to move 160lbs (with assistance) and lift 60lbs
  • Safely work with and around hazardous chemicals and situations
  • Adhering to all PPE requirements and SOPs
