Immediate Supervisor: Packaging Manager, Head Brewer

Under the supervision and direction of the Packaging Manager and Head Brewer, the Packaging Operator will be involved in many aspects of the production, packaging and operations of Drekker Brewing Company. This is a mentally and physically intensive position that requires exceptional motivation and excellent professionalism in the face of a demanding and fast-paced environment. The Packaging Operator must be safety-minded, efficient, quality-focused, creative, have a great work ethic, a positive attitude and dedicated to being an awesome team member.


This is a full-time position that requires primarily weekday, daytime availability with occasional evening and weekend shifts shared amongst the team.

Core Responsibilities:


  • Performs packaging operations – canning, kegging and bottling
  • Restocks de-palletizer during equipment operation
  • Completes required, regular packaging quality checks
  • Cleans and fills kegs
  • Assists with tracking the inventory of necessary packaging materials for canning and kegging
  • Works with Packaging Manager to minimize product loss and can dissolved oxygen levels
  • Works with Packaging Manager and Upper Management to coordinate canning schedule
  • Starts Up, Shuts Down, and cleans equipment regularly according to brewery SOPs


  • Operates a forklift as needed
  • Hand stack pallets of can cases and kegs
  • Assisting operations manager in picking and building orders for delivery
  • Uses shrink-wrapper to safely build pallets for delivery/pick-up
  • Load products for delivery into delivery vehicle

Delivery Driver

  • Manage invoices and collect payments. Maintain positive and professional image with accounts.
  • Provide excellent service to all accounts
  • Deliver products to customers in a professional and timely manner
  • Collect accounts receivable from customers
  • Communicate with Supervisor all concerns, questions, and issues about accounts


  • Ability to meet physical challenges of working in a production brewery:
  • Maneuver a 165lb keg (1/2bbl keg)
  • Lift 40 lbs repeatedly (16oz cases)
  • Stand for long periods
  • Listen, communicate, and follow directions
  • Work in a combination of indoor and outdoor environments with varying temperature control and weather conditions
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record 
  • Work with little supervision while maintaining safety and quality standards
  • Self-motivated with good time management skills
  • Manage multiple processes at one time
  • Coordinate with other staff and departments according to schedule
  • Work in a diverse team environment
  • Effectively communicate with team members throughout the brewery
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Positive attitude 


  • Starting pay of $12.5-15/hr or as negotiated based on experience and qualifications
