Our Tap Room Manager will guide the Taproom Team to uphold the highest standards of customer service. Duties will include day to day oversight of Taproom, training and education for all staff, and oversight of the retail program. The ideal candidate will have extensive beer knowledge, exceptional communication skills, experience in EKOS or similar inventory management software, great attitude and experience managing a busy Taproom environment. ⠀⠀

Responsibilities: 

• Ability to speak to products and display in depth knowledge of the craft beer industry
• Experience with inventory management software
• Managing draft system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Inventory and ordering management through EKOS
• Scheduling
• Working closely with managing partners
• Opening/closing duties
• Providing and taking responsibility for a consistent and pleasant customer experience
• Assisting with hiring, human resources, and staff recruitment
• Developing team members’ beer knowledge
• Helping develop new procedures/policies
• Develop, organize, analyze and implement programs
• Exhibits strong time management abilities

Requirements:

• Minimum Cicerone certification: Level 1-Certified Beer Server
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively lead a team
• Minimum of two years of management experience, preferably in a busy brewery tasting room
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible work schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays (Minimum 40hrs/week)
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to travel to and from our locations
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 20 pounds
• Ability to work around crowds
• Comprehend and follow instructions
