This position reports to and works directly with the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility production equipment and property buildings and grounds.

The ideal candidate:

Will have experience with industrial and/or food manufacturing equipment

Will have PLC skills and experience

Experience in welding, plumbing or electrical work

Able to trouble shoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems to building, brewery and packaging equipment

Has good communication skills, is honest and hard working

Is extremely organized, detail oriented, and has strong follow through with tasks

Displays solid time management and discerning prioritization skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Implement preventative maintenance measures

Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as necessary

Understand production systems and machinery thoroughly, diagnose source of failures and make emergency repairs to all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and electronic systems as needed to return systems to service and minimize production downtime and keep the quality of customer experience high

Log actions and findings in an accurate and timely fashion in CMMS

Ensure department maintains a clean and orderly work area, return tools, equipment and supplies to the appropriate storage areas after each assignment

Complete project work as assigned by Maintenance Manager, often outside core discipline

Help with grounds keeping and snow removal as needed

Follow all company policies as detailed in employee handbook – attendance, safety, IT protocols, etc

Assist other departments or perform other tasks as needed


A minimum of 5+ years experience in a maintenance department

Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office

Must be able to read and interpret schematics, blue prints and manuals

Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted

Requires a flexible schedule and ability to be on call for emergency repairs
