Stager Job Description –

Requirements of Employment –

• Completion of paper application
• Valid Identification
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Pass a drug screening

 Duties & Responsibilities –

• Follow the best practices for safety, both in the warehouse and coolers, as well as while loading or unloading a truck.
• Communicate effectively with Logistics Manager, Drivers, Sales Reps, and Hospitality Managers.
• Meet deadlines for loading vehicles.
• Loading and unloading Cargo – safely and without damage
• Ensure proper product is retrieved for each order/Build pallets with orders accordingly.
• Ensure proper product is loaded in proper vehicle or staged for the proper location
• Ensure that weight limits for each vehicle are followed.
• Keep a clean work environment: including but not limited to coolers, warehouse, and loading zones.
• Keep product rotated in coolers/Use cooler space appropriately.
• Assist with vehicle maintenance
• Keep driver shelves clean and organized weekly
• Take out trash cart(s) nightly
• Complete stager/loading paperwork nightly

 Skills & Qualifications –

• Lift up to 150 lbs
• Work an evening schedule/with rotating Sundays
• Knowledge of how to handle materials safely
• Time management to ensure orders are pulled in a timely manner
• Excellent vision and hand eye coordination to stay safe while driving the forklift during staging/loading
• Physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo – up to 150 lbs.
