Inventory Specialist
Houston’s Most Creative Brewery seeks hop hunter, malt gatherer, fig finder, creative negotiator & train scheduler.
At BuffBrew we are only as good as the quality of our beer and those beers start with the best ingredients. As Inventory Specialist, you will scour the globe to find the right stuff at the right price, and then make sure the goods arrive on time so our Brew Team can get brewing and the schedule keeps moving.
Oftentimes, getting to the right answer is only the first half of the solution; negotiating with vendors and driving internal alignment across all departments requires great communication and interpersonal skills. This role collaborates with folks at all levels of the organization, and the toughest part of the job is knowing when to push the gas and when to pump the brakes.
The Inventory Specialist reports directly to the Controller and collaborates with everyone in the Finance & Operations departments. As such, this role requires someone with the ability to relate to all teammates so they can gather intel from many sources, and distill complex concepts into actionable data that informs decisions across the entire company.
Pro Tip: we are old school and appreciate a good cover letter in addition to thoughtfully written resumes. Tell us what we may not get from quickly scanning your resume, and why you’d be a great fit! The Humans you want to be working with are reading your app, not robots.
