Brewer/Cellar Operator

Spindletap Brewery is in search of an experienced brewer to join its amazing team. This is a full-time salaried position with PTO, medical/dental/vision benefits, and a company-matched 401k plan. Job Responsibilities:

• Execute production related tasks in accordance with established quality control standards and operating procedures
• Brewhouse Management:
• Malt handling, wort production, CIP
• Cellar Management:
• Yeast handling, fermentation monitoring, dry-hopping, product transfer/filtration, CIP
• Assist in other areas of production operation as needed

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma; applicable college degree and/or formal brewing education preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a brewery production role
• Schedule flexibility
• Represent the company and brand in a professional manner
• Mechanically inclined/basic troubleshooting skills in a brewery setting
• Ability to work and communicate well with all staff
• Organized and detail oriented; accurate record keeping skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and scissor lift
• Lift 55 lbs from ground to shoulder high
• Climb ladders and operate scissor lift
• Work in small and confined spaces
• Follow best practice and safety requirements
• Attend brewery staff meetings as required
