Martin House Brewing Company has been in business in Fort Worth, TX for over 10 years. We brewed over 21,000 barrels in 2022. We have acquired a third building and a much larger footprint, and we are in the process of expanding production with new equipment and additional cold-room space.  We are looking for a qualified candidate to become a part of our sales team and help us with our continued growth.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

• Sell a targeted amount of beer
• Grow Houston customer base, in both new business & with existing customers
• Obtain & Input orders
• Create & Foster relationships with retail customers
• Stocks shelves
• Rotates product
• Builds displays
• Creates signage
• Maintains overstock
• Execute chain resets
• Takes inventory
• Obtain client or customer signatures when needed, as well as obtain payment when needed
• Assists with delivery of products when needed
• Assists Sales Lead with events, demos, or other activities as needed
• Line cleans
• Represent MHBC professionally at all times

To excel at this job, you’ll need to display a positive attitude, be extremely reliable, perform all job duties as requested by management, and have an excellent attendance record. The ideal candidate will also display a strong work ethic, sense of character and trustworthiness, as well as be a self-motivated individual capable of staying productive and busy without micromanagement. You should be able to work very well with others as well as on your own.

The hours for this position will normally be Sunday thru Thursday, 8am-5pm. This is a FT position, working 40 hours a week. FT employees are eligible to enroll in benefits. This is a salaried position. You may be required to work some hours outside normal shifts, or occasional weekends. The pay begins at $35,568/yr, with a $6000 yearly base bonus opportunity to be paid out quarterly based on performance. The quarterly base bonus is $1500. This position reports to the Sales Manager.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Be a least 21 years of age
• Pass a drug screening
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle
• Have a reliable motor vehicle that can be used for work purposes
• Be reliable
• Ability to read/count on a repetitive basis throughout the shift
• Ability to walk/stand/squat/bend/climb on a repetitive basis throughout the shift
• Ability to lift/carry/stack product weighing up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis throughout the shift
• Ability to diagnose & solve problems independently
• Have SMART phone/laptop capabilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong time management skills
• Like having fun

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Grocery or beer retail experience
