Head Brewer

**Job Summary:**
Alaska Pacific Beverage Co. LLC in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Head Brewer to lead research and development efforts for beer recipes, develop brewing processes, conduct test batches, stay abreast of market trends, ensure quality control, mentor staff, and monitor industry and technological advancements.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Brewing, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field required
- A minimum of 36 months of experience as a Head Brewer at a craft brewery
- High school diploma or equivalent accepted with a minimum of 36 months of experience as a Head Brewer at a craft brewery

**Responsibilities:**
- Lead research and development for beer recipes
- Develop and optimize brewing processes
- Conduct and oversee test batches
- Stay informed about market trends and adjust strategies accordingly
- Ensure quality control throughout the brewing process
- Mentor and coach brewing staff
- Monitor and incorporate industry and technological trends
