Packaging Line Operator

(512) Brewing Company is a microbrewery located in Austin, TX. We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about craft beer to join our team. The individual we are looking for needs to be a good team member, mechanically inclined, and detail oriented. This job will require various start times (6am-12pm). This is a full time entry level position, so experience is not required but it is a plus. Duties will include but are not limited to:

Packaging Responsibilities:

·        Operate our two head M+F keg filler

·        Operate our 12 head GAI bottle filler

·        Operate our American Canning 4 head can filler

·        Assist coworkers in other departments

·        Assist with additional Brewery tasks when required

Maintenance, Sanitation and Safety:

·        Maintain a clean and safe working environment

·        Perform routine maintenance and cleaning procedures

·        Always wear appropriate safety equipment

·        Operate under the health and safety standards set by the organization

Physical Requirements:

 To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty.

·        Physically move products, lifting up to 55lbs to the shoulder and lift 140lbs to the hip

·        Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms. Use hands to touch, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.

·        Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.

·        Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb.

·        Ability to frequently talk, hear, and smell.

Job requirements:

·        High School Diploma or GED

·        Must be willing and able to pass a background check 

·        Must be 21+ to apply

·        Compensation will be based on experience
